Clifton Road

Situated on the edge of Sutton Park, Clifton Road is our newest centre and was funded by a Big Lottery Fund grant. Easily accessible by public transport, the centre was built above the existing Clifton Road Youth Centre.  The centre is used for a range of activities, and available for room hire.

Spacious, bright and flooded with natural light, the building includes ample changing facilities, toilets, showers and cage storage for belongings.  Two large classrooms with expansive windows (each suitable for a class of 30) are separated by a folding door, which can be opened up to make one larger space. A cosier meeting room with views over the trees is also available.

The building has disabled access.

Because of Sutton Park’s unique environment we are able to offer a range of activities based in the park, such as orienteering, problem solving challenges, shelter building and environmental work. We are working closely with the Youth Service and Ranger Service to provide quality environmental courses and to develop Forest Schools.

A range of water activities including sailing, open canoeing, kayaking and raft building take place at Powells Pool near Boldmere Gate in the Park.
