Birmingham Outdoor Education Centre is part of the Birmingham City Council Outdoor Learning Service.

We provide a range of high quality outdoor learning opportunities, working closely with young people, schools and youth groups.  Offering a range of adventurous activities, we use direct learning to boost confidence, promote team building and build self-esteem.  We also offer a range of courses for adults including First Aid, Educational Visit Coordinator, Visit Leader and tailored training courses.

We offer bespoke courses to meet the needs of each group, designed by our highly trained staff.

BOEC has a number of sites - Clifton Road Outdoor Learning Centre on the edge of Sutton Park and The Stables Outdoor Learning Centre near Bromsgrove both offer a range of adventurous activities.

Burcot offers a rural camping experience and Coopers Mill is a rustic cottage deep in the Wyre Forest.

Our administrative centre is Clifton Road by Sutton Park, which deals with bookings and enquiries.

We are a non-profit making organisation, with any income generated helping to fund our projects supporting young people across Birmingham.
